Ladies’ Event–Brunch & Books!

For our Spring Ladies’ event this year we are hosting a ladies’ Brunch and Books event at the church building on Saturday, April 12 from 10:30am-12:30pm. Bring a brunch food to share and a favorite unwrapped book. A sign up sheet for food will be sent to the forum. We will be exchanging the books and having fellowship and food together. Ladies of any age are welcome! 

Shepherding Groups

We have two weekly fellowship groups where we join together in a family’s home to study Scripture, worship, and mutually encourage each other. 

The Downtown South Bend Shepherding Group meets on Thursday nights at 5:30-7:30pm. Contact Peter Wallace at peter@peterwallace.org for more details. 

The Granger Shepherding Group meets on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30pm. Contact Glenn Sunshine at glenn.sunshine@gmail.com for more details. 

Youth Group

Our youth group is for kids from 6th to 12th grade. We meet every Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the church building for Bible study, prayer, and activities. Most weeks, the first hour is a time of discussion and prayer, and the last half hour is for games and other activities. In addition, we also periodically hold other events and service projects throughout the year. For more information click here or contact jwaldrop@nd.edu. 

Village – Our Summer Fellowship 

“Village” is our summer gathering. We call it Village because it is where the whole community comes together. Most of our regular groups (Shepherding Groups, Youth Group, etc.) take the summer off and gather together during the summer. Each summer can be a little different — depending on the needs and interests of those who come. The general idea is that everyone brings their own meat to be grilled at the church building and a side to be shared potluck style. After we share our meal, we often sing, have a devotion and join in prayer together. More information on this gathering will be forthcoming.
